What TikTok Shop looks for
- TikTok Shop rates a listing with five or more product images as good quality.
- The main image shows the product clearly, on a clean background (white preferred), without text, logos, watermarks, borders or stickers.
- No duplicate main images, and no collages that cram many variants into one picture.
- Use different angles and settings rather than one template for every image.
Required and recommended
Required rules can get a listing rejected; recommended ones affect how it looks, for example zoom. Our photo check uses these:
- At least 600 × 600 px (required)
- 10 MB or smaller (required)
- Square (1:1), as TikTok Shop recommends (recommended)

Questions
How can I check my photos against the TikTok Shop rules?
Open TikTok Shop photos, add your photos and turn on “Just check my photos”: each one is checked as it is, and you see what passes and why the rest fail. It reads JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF photos. Turn it off to make a 1200 × 1200 px copy that is checked again.
