You get a separate copy of each photo for every marketplace you pick, sized and checked for it.

Photo fit

What happens to each photo

  • Resized to each marketplace’s recommended size: Amazon 2000 × 2000 px, Etsy 3000 × 2250 px, eBay 1600 × 1600 px, Shopify 2048 × 2048 px, Walmart 2200 × 2200 px, TikTok Shop 1200 × 1200 px, Facebook Shops 1024 × 1024 px.
  • “Keep whole photo” adds white space around the photo; “Fill the frame” crops the edges instead.
  • “Center product on white” trims empty white margins, so the product fills about 90% of the frame.
  • For Amazon and Walmart only, near-white background pixels (RGB 245 and up) are set to pure white (255).
  • “Remove background” replaces the background with white, using an AI model that runs in your browser (on a computer, in Chrome or Edge).
  • If the AI misses a spot, “Edit cutout” lets you erase or restore parts with a brush; the checks run again.
  • Saved as JPG at quality 90.

What the check looks at

  • Size, file size and format, against each marketplace’s published limits.
  • Amazon and Walmart: whether the background is pure white. Amazon: also whether the whole product is in the frame and fills at least 85% of it.
  • A failed requirement is shown with ✗; a missed recommendation is shown as a tip.
  • It can’t judge what is in the photo, such as text, logos or props. Check those yourself.
  • A photo on a colored background fails the Amazon and Walmart background checks unless you turn on “Remove background”.

Frequently asked questions

Which sizes do you use?

Amazon 2000 × 2000 px, Etsy 3000 × 2250 px, eBay 1600 × 1600 px, Shopify 2048 × 2048 px, Walmart 2200 × 2200 px, TikTok Shop 1200 × 1200 px, Facebook Shops 1024 × 1024 px. Where a marketplace publishes a recommended size we use it, so zoom works.

Can I fix the background removal?

Yes. Click “Edit cutout” under a photo, or “Fix by hand” on a failed check, to erase or restore parts with a brush. The photo is redone and checked again.

Can I name the files by SKU?

Yes. Click the photo’s name under Results and type the SKU. Downloads and the ZIP use it, e.g. MUG-01-amazon.jpg.

Why does it say “Use a photo at least 1,000 px”?

Every photo is enlarged to the marketplace’s size. A small original still passes the size rules but looks soft when shoppers zoom in.

Will my photos be uploaded to the marketplaces?

No. Everything runs in your browser, so your photos stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded. You download the files and upload them to your listings yourself.

Is PixListing free?

Yes. PixListing is free to use and needs no account. Files can be up to 25 MB, 20 images per batch.
