Your images

PixListing processes images entirely in your web browser. Your photos stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded, so we cannot see them.

Background removal uses an AI model that your browser downloads once from our site. It runs on your device too; your photos and your edits stay there.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. We send these events:

  • Pages visited.
  • Which tool was used, how many files were added, processed or skipped, and why.
  • The total size of the files before and after, and the downloaded format.
  • Which marketplaces or formats were made, whether background removal was on, and whether this device can run it.
  • Which requirement checks failed, and how often.
  • That a cutout was fixed by hand, or a download was renamed (never the name itself).

They never contain your images or file names. Google also collects standard data such as your browser, device and approximate location from your IP address, and sets cookies to tell visits apart. See how Google uses this data.

Visitors in Europe are asked first, and Google Analytics is not loaded unless they accept. Everyone can turn it off with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage.

Tool-use counter

We count how often each tool is used. No cookies, nothing about you or your files. When a run finishes or you download a result, the page sends our own server only the tool's name, what happened (run, download or error) and how many files. This counter is separate from Google Analytics and does not depend on your cookie choice.

Saved settings

Each tool remembers the settings you last used, such as your marketplaces or output format, in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device; clear your browser's site data to remove them.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and block abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising

We don't show ads yet. We plan to add Google AdSense. Before any ad appears, this page will explain which cookies Google uses for ads and how to opt out, and visitors in Europe will be asked for consent first.
