Why Shopify photos get rejected
Mixed image shapes make Shopify collection pages look uneven, because themes crop or letterbox them differently. Using the same square size for every product keeps grids tidy and zoom sharp.
Shopify accepts images up to 5000 × 5000 px and 20 MB, but 2048 × 2048 px is a good balance between sharpness and page speed.
