What is changing at remove.bg
remove.bg says it is moving its background removal into Canva. Its API page says that from 1 December 2026, background removal moves to Leonardo.Ai, also part of Canva.
If you used remove.bg for quick cutouts of product photos, PixListing does that job with no account needed, and your photos stay on your device.

Questions
Is PixListing part of remove.bg or Canva?
No. PixListing is an independent product by Fruit Basket Labs, not affiliated with remove.bg, Canva or Leonardo.Ai. Their names are their trademarks.
Can I remove the background from many photos at once?
Yes. Add up to 30 photos per batch on the free plan, 50 MB each. Each one is cut out on your device, and you download them all as one ZIP.
Do I get a watermark or a small preview?
No. You download the full-size result, with no watermark.
Does it work on my phone or tablet?
Yes, in a lighter mode: the AI looks at the photo in less detail, so it uses less memory. It downloads the same 45 MB model once and can take longer than on a computer; fix any soft edge with the brush.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so your photos stay on your device. They aren’t uploaded. That includes the AI.
Is PixListing free?
Yes. PixListing is free to use and needs no account. On the free plan you can add up to 30 photos at once, 50 MB each.
